Mário Carlos Marques began developing software at the age of 13 and, by 15, was already selling games he had created in computer shops in Lisbon. From programming, he moved into systems analysis and later consulting, gradually expanding his activities into entrepreneurship and management.

Throughout his career, he has founded and contributed to a range of business and technology ventures, holding leadership roles including IT Director, Executive Director and Managing Director across different sectors.

A highlight of his entrepreneurial career was founding a globally pioneering startup.

He also lectured in information technology at university level, combining professional practice with teaching and sharing the experience he had gained.

Since 2017, he has focused on investing in technology businesses and real estate through Pangeia. He seeks opportunities in emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, while developing and overseeing investments in property assets, land and urban development projects.

His experience brings together technology, management and investment, with a focus on identifying opportunities and creating long-term value.
